One of the boys from the 4.6 forums just bought a 96-98 KB kit and we compared his to my 99+ for parts. It looks like It might be a go here. I might have to fab a small bracket or two but that's it. Very minor stuff. Matt has the stuff coming from KB anyways so we'll see when it arrives. Now it's a matter of getting the time to install it. Won't be this coming week, hopefully the next. Now I'm actually excited about this thing! Can't wait to get it done and tuned and then I can terrorize the street and the track, mostly the track . We'll see what kind of numbers she puts down.

Won't be as slow as the Novi either . I was going to bust your balls over in the ModDepot 2V forums today. Should have got a KB! J/K man! Hopefully you get the stuff you need to get the beast on the road. Can't wait to see what she's going to put down. I have no hope here anymore. There is a new Cobra in my town pushing 775RWHP. Single T76 turbo pushing 30psi . It just came out of the shop. Guy said he spent 20 grand on it over the winter. The car is ridiculous.

It's black and it's an old fox style Cobra with a 400+CI Stroker with the turbo. One of the guys from work is friends with him, that's where I got all of this info. They all drive bikes. One guy has stuntriders.com on his bike. That's all I know. The bikes are going to be doing a show at the drag strip between rounds on June 10th. I heard the Cobra is going to be there too. I've heard about this car from 3 different people so I'd really like to see it in person. See if it's actually true or just fiction.

This one is supposedly a 351 stroked out to a 418? I think. you never now what's true or not though. Could be the same car with some serious "misinformation" floating around. I'll talk to the guy at work and see if he actually knows what's going on or if he's just BS. The funny thing is i heard the same thing from our safety guy and one of our foremen and none of these three know each other. Each of them heard about it seperately so you never know, there may be a second badass stang out there. This one does not have a cage so if it comes to the track it will have one shot to prove what it can do.

Ok, here's the scoop. He used to have a 347 stroker in it but fried it on Nitrous last year. He put the 410 and the T76 Turbo in it over the winter. It's in awesome shape, not just a piece of crap body with a big motor like most foxes nowadays. balck paint, 17" Cobra rims. He's only running 3psi until he gets 1000km and then he's going to push it to 14#. This is from the guy at work who is friends with him. It's already tuned and on the street. I haven't seen it yet myself.

With motor, blower, cams, clutch, flywheel, roughly $12,000 over the winter. I don't regret a penny. Just want to get it finished and on the road. That doesn't include all of the other old stuff, longtubes, gears, CAI, Subframes, programmer, rims, tires....and on and on. I could have gone the easier route of an old LX with a 460 but I want something unique. I can guarentee there won't be many 96-98 GT's that are faster around here.

That sure does sound like the guy I know. He wreaked it on nitrous last year. The 3psi for 1000k is for the break in until he gets it tuned. Wow, stories sure do fly. The motor is a 331 stroke with a big bore(4.125) so its a 347-348ci. I saw it on saturday after he brought it back form calgary. He going to try to make 600rwhp or enough to beat some of his buddies in a hp war namely a 408ci with a novi 2000 in a fox.

That sure sounds like him. I believe the guy from work said his name is Phil?? Does that sound right? I asked at work about what motor he has and he says for sure it was a 410, I asked him twice, could it be a 347 and he said no. This guy from work is a little squirlly though. I believe "Phil" is a newfy and so is the guy from work. I don't think this guy from work, I'd use his name but I can't remember it to be honest with you, knows Phil real well apparently. Even if your buddy gets 600rwhp that is still a very impressive number.

Yes his name is phil and yes there a few newfi's with some fast stangs around. I'm sure its a 347-348ci as he was even sticking his 347stroker bage's on when I was over there. If everything works out it should be one to watch out for.

There are at least three very fast foxes in Medicine Hat that have been built over the winter, including the one you guys are talking about, which is not 410 cubic inches. They should all be on the Tecmotion cruise to Three Hills if you want a closer look at them.

Glad to hear everything is coming together!!
Just make sure you get lots of rest before you start working on it. Once the KB starts going on you won't want to quit till it's all together and running!
