So i have been thinking of getting a v8 for a while now, i have had 2 other cars i have been working on one was dsm the other was a rx7 i got the rx7 in the 13's was upset after all the work i did to be so low.. then built the rx7 and was equally disappointed.

So i have been looking online and around my town for a v8 i can get into the 12's high or low 13's. Well the reason im here is to see what you guys think about the car i went and test drove today.

Thank you for reading tell me what you think

BBK longtube headers
flowmaster
410 ford racing gears

only thing is i have been hearing that the 96-98's have been known for a lot of issues and are weak rear end and tranny but thats just from a few friends..

why do you say cobra though?

The T45 is a weak point on the Cobras. The rear end is the same one that is in every other Mustang with an 8.8.

Cobras are a blast. My wife's 96 with a 2.1 Kenne Bell put almost 400 to the rear wheels and started and drove like stock.
