This is odd.....

My car hasn't had the chime that's supposed to go off if the keys are in the ignition, but I haven't thought much about it. One less annoying sound. Yesterday my buddy and I get in to go somewhere and he needs to charge up his cell phone. So he plugs into the power port in the console and it doesn't work. Then he tries the lighter in front of the shifter. It doesn't work either. I know the one in front of the shifter is plugged in because I plugged it back in when I put the new shifter in. I'm missing the bottom part of the Mach 460 stereo and I know there's three plugs floating around in there. So I'm not sure if that affects the lighter and power port. Or is there a fuse somewhere that controls these things? Thanks.

it's either a fuse (check your manual) or you didn't reconnect a harness

This is how I got it. Whoever had it before me pulled out the stock head unit and put in an aftermarket CD player. Apparently the lack of bass didn't bother them.

those three plugs may be for the rear defroster, traction control, & fog lights...

The defroster and fog lights work. I don't have traction control that I know of. Two of the plugs are for the Mach 460. I've checked into that. It's the third one I'm not sure of. I'm going to get under the dash when I get home and see what I can find. Otherwise it's going to be a long trip with my son this weekend.
