I went to get some coffee and on the way there was a light grey 4 door neon with huge body kit, the wing alone must be AT LEAST 50 pounds I heard his fart canned engine revv up pretty high, yet I was more than able to follow him IN MY ACCENT.

There was a nice silver 05 GT next to him, the Mustang driver shook his head at the neon kid, slowed right down then punched it to make a flybye (not something I'd do but that 4.6 sounded real nice).

There's LOTS of rice in my town, I'd say 4 out of 10 cars are riced out. There's a green Acura with a HOMEMADE WOOD / FIBERGLASS wing on the back. This morning's neon was pretty funny though, how the kid was flooring it just to keep up with traffic. Why bother, why not just keep the POS 4 door as it is and save up cash for something better later on - even a civic is a step up imo? I wonder what is in the water these days...

That IMPORT CRAP is taking over in my town too...We always cruise Woodward every weekend, yes we are lucky enough to live so close, but all the rich kids on that side of town drive imports with some serious work done to them...they are not hacks either, they are nice nice cars. Great paint, great body work, body kits, head lights, tails, exhaust, wheels, brakes, susp.....+everything. It is sickening to see that though....

I've seen a few nice civics, which is RARE. The best one was black looked stock except for the lowered stance and wheels... He had a, what looked like, only 2" tip (no farting sound) but a nice intercooler hidden behind the STOCK front bumper. That was respectable.

I agree...some of them can be a nice car that performs exceptional. Out on Woodward which is 20 miles from my house, there are MANY Subaru WRX's, and Mitsubishi Lancers EVO's. Those are the nicer cars here....the civics are oppostie from you....here.....they are rust buckets brought back from the dead!!!

I should get another camera... There's a white civic hatch near my parent's place... No big deal except there is NO MORE 1/4 panels, that car looks like the owner found it in the ocean. HOWEVER HE DID MANAGE to put some 19" CHROME wheels and HUGE fart pipe on it. I can understand "weight reduction" but come on If I start taking pics (and better yet: movies of their driving), you guys will understand my pure hatred for ricers.

Yeah, weight reduction for Hondas, is as follows

1. Find the oldest rusted CRX or HB Civic. The more metal missing...the better!

2. Repeat #1.

There is someone in quebec that put the S2000 drivetrain in a civic, that was pretty cool but lots and lots of fab work. For that much cash, I'm sure I could have put in a smallblock chevy in that car... or maybe an alum. 427 hahaha

I would build a CRX one day but keep the car 100% stock on the outside, right down to the 13" steel wheels and pea shooter exhaust. The engine bay would sport a K20 though with maybe a little shot of N2O... I think the only sticker I'd put would be some text that reads "My rice is faster than your rice"... or "I can do this to a POS Honda, imagine what I can do with a real car". But I doubt I'll have that kind of cash to waste since I've calculated it would cost around 10 grand to accomplish and I don't really see the intelligence in it (unless I had a LOT of money in advance so I can waste some of it). Still it would be funny to fight fire with fire lol

I'm not seeing the modern idea of the 4 door sports car...is it just me?

4 door Lancers, Acura's, Civics, etc...

Even Dodge is getting into it with the 4 door "Charger"..

What is happening to our world!?

This should be a game. Find the most riced out / rusted out import you can find and post pics.

Speaking of ricers, there's a lime green civic hatchback with a 2ft steel spoiler on top of it in my town... or at least it HAD the spoiler until someone broke it off. Now it's a lime green civic HB with two broken posts sticking out of the roof.

There is more rice at my school then muscle. It's sad. There is this one guy with a 4 door civic with NO rear bumper at all.......but yes he must have that 6 in. exhaust, chrome taillights, and those 18's.

Also some guy in a red cougar, with a body kit. Not an old cougar a newer one. Only problem is the body kit is factory white. Oh yeah, and his dual 4 in. exhuast.

There is even a teacher...prolly say...very late 20's..early 30's?. He drives this white eclipse with a huge @ss wing, body kit, and blue flames?

I don't know what the world is coming to.

oh man... I'm in summer school right now...(kinda slept through physics lol) and the kids there make me wanna vomit. There is a green bmw with black front bumper and a chitload of bondo, a gold cavalier with chrome around the wheel wells and red markings of some sort, a couple of gay civics and stuff. I'll be sure to snap some pics on thurs. We have off tomorrow.

In highschool my buddy had a 67 mustang. Fire engine red, black leather seats, drag radials on the rear. Absolutely cherry car. A month after he finished the restoration, he got T'd in an intersection.

His insurance wouldn't cover much, so he ended up driving a Jetta. Thats as bad as a honda. You could see the sadness in his face when he was in his car.

Damn the rice.

I had a Kid at the Part Store ask me to open the Hood on my Stang today and he popped the hood on his Rice and he explained to me how I was losing 20 HP by having my Stock Airbox in place, while he was gaining 20 HP with the 8" Long Pipe from his Throttle Body to an Exposed Filter sitting right next to the Block, LOL!

It was actually funny to listen to as he told me about all the things that make HP, 1 of them was a $6000 Tranny for an AWD something was going to pick up 2.5 Seconds in the 1/4
