Hey Kev, I think you aren't getting a lot of responses about your lean condition mainly because it is a question that seems to come up a lot, and by doing a seach you can get a lot of info. If you do a seach and still can't get the info, let us know why the info didn't help, and then ask the question. I have found that most of my questions are answered by the seach function, and whenever I can't get an answer, one of the car gurus on here will invariably get me the answer.

Good thinking blk92. I never thought to post the questions i had after seaching, sorry. I was just so frustrated after going to the track and checking the plugs. I wasn't thinking. i will post them under my original question help with lean condition. thanks

Well to the original post...

Drive it everyday, gets 21-22 mpg average (got almost 28 the other day), race it whenever I can where it goes consistent 12.6-12.7s, all this with stock heads, cam, suspension, and all the amenities!

I have NO clue what Im doing... LOL!

Just because this is a mustang Forum dosent mean EVERY QUESTION will be able to be answered. Many answers are given based on hands on experience. Sometimes the answer given may not fix your problem. And sometimes people do not answer because as Jade Falcon said its been asked before and if you just try to search for the answer youll find it. i dont know how many times someone has asked a question I cut and pasted the question into my internet explorer address bar searched the internet for 2 mins and found the answer. why cant people just try to look it up before asking? Its not to hard.

Well, to answer the question, i drive my car at least 3 out of 5 days to work, 30 miles each way, and i live at least 30 miles from the track. I havent raced it yet though, but i drive the balls off of it and i'm sure i've put it through 1/4 mile like conditions on the street and hiways many times.

lol the caps is off this may help those who race a stock bottom end this is coming from someone who dragraces alot. he said if your gonna race dont use a high volume oil pump unless your using 30wt or less cause it can snap the shaft from the distibutor to the oil pump. read my other post and you can find out how i know
