If i dont want to get a chip reburned i read there was a way to fool the ecu in regards to the egr so it doenst know its been pluged. Someone said something about opening the device and using something to keep the blunger depressed. Does this work? And how do you do it? I couldnt think of anyway to keep the lil stick halfway down. What did you guys use? got pics?

I wrapped electrical tape 1/2 way down the plunger and then used some more tape to hold it down... But it got too hot and the plunger poked through the tape. a piece of wood with a hole drilled in it and held on will work out just fine. Same thing with a piece of metal. Or you can cut the plunger 1/2 way down and use something to hold it in that way.

Me... I can deal with the C/E light for now until I find something nice to use.

Just take the white part of the EGR off the housing. The cap the small shaft with JB Weld or a screw. Plug it back in and zip tie off somewhere.

Just cut the wire harness and weld up the hole on the manifold :) or you can do what the other guys did.

I had mine disable for a while before I got a Tweecer. Now it's just zip tied off in the engine bay.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but really quick, Vibe, what's the lastest with your car? Why are you selling everything? What the heck happened. I haven't been on in like 2 months.

Number #8 got a little toasty. Actually its not that bad, number 8 has some ring damage. I still haven't decided on which route to take.
