Those with Off road h-pipe and flowmasters w/o cats....

I just got mine in today and daym, that makes a big difference!!! The sound is ridiculously louder than flowmasters alone. I have 2 questions: 1. When you h-pipe was installed, did you have clearance problems? My pipes are only a couple of inches away from the ground and my drop is only as much as the C-Springs give me (which is not too much) and my Check Engine light hasn't been on all day. I haven't even installed my MIL Eliminators. What's going on here?

Glad you like the combo I love mine also. No I dont have any clearance problems at all, my car isnt lowered at all but I still dont think it would be close. Some engines dont check the check engine light when put on an O/R pipe its really weird like that.

Yea my ground clearance is not much either but its way worth it. I have an '01 Bullitt with X-pipe Flows and no cats, and the car is lowered anyway so its tough when speed bumps come along but totally worth it, the sound and extra power are amazing.

I have the Eibach sportlines with my o/r H-pipe and MAC Flowpaths. No scraping issues at all. I even cut 1/3 of a coil on the front to level it off a little better. I did have issues when I had my Dr. Gas X-pipe on. Ground clearance was very minimal. Also the check engine light does not come on right away. Sometimes it takes awhile for the ECU to register the O2 sensors. It took mine a couple of weeks before it would come on. Enjoy the new sound.

The check engine light will prolly come on soon. Sometimes it takes a while, but ive heard that you can lift up on or jack the pipe up (after loosening it of course) and then tighten it back up and it should raise up. Someone with more experience with this maybe will come in.

I have the Mac H-pipe

and it doesn't appear to be any lower than the stock H.

also I was able to drive mine for about 30 miles before my light came on. Then I had to install the Mil's and reset the EEC.

I bought the MIL's but do I have to reset the EEC after installation? If so, how do I reset the EEC?

i have longtubes, offroad h, and the american thunder catback with the super 40 series (5in thick) mufflers. Topping it off with eibach springs, so yeah, i gotta be carefull going in and out of places, and over speed bumps. Gotta take it real slow.

dude get the mils..dont confuse ur car..and yes i had a problem fitting..but i dont regret the sound

THe main reason to why I barely have any clearance is because the part on the H-pipe where it's bolted on to is facing downwards therefore taking away about 3 inches of clearance. IS there a way to raise the pipe? Or adjust it some way?

Glad you like your setup. i also have an off road h pipe with flowmasters. if clearance is really a problem for you try tightening the entire exhaust setup it might be sagging because its loose but if that doesnt help then nothing will

This is what I did with my H pipe, Loosen the H pipe bolts on both sides of the manifold and put a jack on the H section of the pipe ( I use a piece of wood in between the jack and the h pipe, holds it better) jack it up as high without the H pipe touching the floor board or anything else, and tighten both the manifold bolts before removing the jack. and your set.

I did the same with my Mac Prochamber. Now I have no clearance issues at all.
