Throttle body sticks at WOT

Hi guys,

After a hard run at WOT, and sometimes less, my throttle becomes sticky at idle. It's pretty annoying, cuz today i ended up stuck in some traffic, and my accelerator pedal was sticky. any suggestions?

spray on some throttle body cleaner, don't be afraid to spray the shtt out of it either....a bottle is like $3 at autozone

Either the butterly is sticking or the throttle cable is hanging up somewhere. Have someone press the gas pedal to the floor while your look for the above symptoms.

a friends got a carbon like build up and was doing the same thing...i would say clean it real good and you will be ok

That is how I would do it too. On some TB's one can adjust the butterfly plate a little too.
