My question is-- are there certain brands for the clutch fork, bearing retainer, Pivit Stud and throw out bearing that are better than others. What brands are the best. Is NAPA or Autozone for these parts OK? What should I stay away from?
What brand makes a stronger clutch fork for the T5 and the rest of these items listed above?

Thanks

Your 90 already has the HD clutch Fork from Ford.. however if you are going to change everything get a Ford fork and pivit. I got mine from D&D along with the Steel retainer and any other items you need.

I have seen several length piviots so if you go new make sure they give you one that is the same lenght otherwise you may have problems.

When I went to buy a throwout bearing the Timkin was made out of some composite crap, so I had to go someplace else to find an OEM style steel bearing. I cant remember what brand I got, just make sure its steel, I dont know how long a composite T.O. bearing will hold up in a Mustang.
