Wow my car is quiet with the stock headers and H-pipe on. It feels like im driving my dads stock 02 GT well maybe a little faster:D . Im taking it in for smog today around noon. Hopefully it all goes smoothly. Ill be sure to let you guys know. Wish me luck!!!!!

.. Do you really swap your HEADERS every year for smog??? =O

Thankfully as of Jan this year, 95 on down no longer have sniffer test in NC... Because looking at my 347 with a carb, no computer, absolutely NO smog equipment, I don't think I'd pass... :D

Good luck man. I got a lucky break. I found out the county that Virginia Tech is in does not require emissions. So I just went to the DMV and had it registered that it is "garaged" down here. So yeah no emissions.

You sure other counties in your state don't require emissions? You can try to do what I did.

I'm thinkin he might have LT's, so the header swap is requisite to make the stock H work.

Good luck mang. I'm sure you'll do fine [with a 4 banger tune]. :p

**** yeah i did fine! I passed easily! I LOVE my stock H-pipe. I actually have smog legal shorties but for some reason they just will not seal at all with the stock H so i put the stockers back on. With my PA Racing tubular K changing the headers was freakin cake. Ok boys here are the numbers

From all the research I've done the stock-H is the key. Aftermarket highflow cats work too...they are definitely the most integral part of the system.

Many people have passed without airpump and EGR...just using cats
