What is the largest 17" rim and tire that can be used on this car. my friend is buying 17s and he want to go 9" wide.

17 x 9 245/40 or 45

17*9's all the way around with 235 up front and 275 in rear

Don't they make 17X10 (or 10.5) for the rears? Would that work for the fox?

Yes there are 10's and 10.5's, but I am not sure if they will fit in the stock fenders
