Tire Question, please read.

ok, heres the deal. i want to kno if a tire off of one rim will fit onto another rim.
The tire I want to use is on a stock turbine rim. Its specs are:
Futura GLS Super Sport P235/60R15

The rim i want to use is an ARE wheel the currently has the following tire on it:
Goodyear Eagle VR60 P225/60VR15

can I simply remove the tire from the ARE wheel, and put the tire from the Turbine rim on it?
how much do you think this would cost if i went to a tire shop? would i need a balance?

The car isnt a daily driver or anything, it wont be a DD till the end of May, but if i went around the block or sumtin would it be ok?

Yes, it'll fit. They're both 15" wheels, the 235 is a little wider (~ .4") and a bit taller but it will go right on the wheel. Not sure what a tire shop would charge you to swap them but yes you should get it balanced too.

However, if you're planning on putting a 235/60/15 on a car with 3 225/60/15's on it, DON'T. The 235/60/15 is almost .5" taller.
