I'm looking at getting new wheels/tires (my current tires are really wearing out anyway, so now seems to be a good time). I think i'll probably end up with 15" Cragars or similar with 225 wide tires all around.

Question 1) I'm considering dropping the car an inch (as a few other threads have stated) but am not completely sure I want to yet... I was hoping that I could get the wheels and tires, install them, and see how I liked the stance without the drop first. However, one issue... would you need a different size tire for a stock height 65/66 vs. a dropped 1" one? I'm assuming thats a yes, which does complicate things.

Question 2) What sidewall height should I be looking at? Where'd that nice wheel-tire chart get to?

Thanks

The chart's in the same place its always been.

And no, you don't need a smaller sidewall just because you lowered the car.
Need to know more information about the Cragers to recommend a tire...
15x7?
15x8?
what backspacing
Did you lower the control arms?
Will you roll the fender lips?

it has been a while... could you re-enlighten me about that wheel-tire chart? Im not sure about what backspacing I should use (figured the chart would tell me). The rearend is stock width and there have been no edits (nor are any planned) for the fender lips. I do want to lower the control arms. The Cragars would be 15x7s.
