my car has been down for about a year.. got a little in over my head.. but the project is getting going.. parts are all purchased.. but tires are needed..

I have welds..

I have a basic street rite upfront with a 25in diameter..

in the back I have Hoosiers

Tire, Quick Time D.O.T., P 275 /50-15, Bias-Ply, 11.6in width 26.10 in. tall

when I drive the car aggressively or hit a bad bump.. the rear fenders bite the rear tires.. about an inch from the outside of the tire.. so they are getting replaced..

I want to go to a regular 275 street tire they run about an inch thinner which might make up where the tire is getting bit.. also I have access to a fender roller.. so I think I am good on the fender side.. but a 275 street tire on the inside? will a 10.70 in. wide tire fit on the inner fender?

any advice is appreciated..

ordered some 275s... the physical measurement seems a little thinner than my Hoosiers.. will bump out the fender a hair.. and hopefully between those two things it won't run so much..

thanks for the info..
