tire size

i have a 89 gt with pony wheels on it and i have 225/50 or 55 on back i dont remember,i want a wider tire maybe taller but wider,wut is some sizes that would fit.

i ran 255/45 16 's on mine.

245/50/16 here, perfect size on the 8" wide rim IMO, and I bet it would look great on a 7" wide rim

forget all that junk... can them pony rims for somr cobra 17's or 18's and run 275/45's on the rear. that will put your tire at 10 inches wide.
