Tire Sizes for 65 coupe with Torque thurst

Hi, Im new to stangnet, i regularly post on corral, seems like stangnet has more for the classics though. anyway, im currently restoring my 65 C code and am planning on putting on 15" chrome torque thrust D wheels. anyone know what tire sizes will work well on a stock suspension stock everything car. i do not want to roll the fenders so what tires size is the largest i can have in the back with absolutely no rubbing. the front is not as important because i can go with more of a stock size up there. thanks!

For what its worth, I run a 205 Falken Azenis(wider than advertised) in the back on 16'' Torque Thurst Ds with the back having a 1'' drop. I had just a little rubbing, nothing a hammer couldnt fix.

For street use I run a 225/60 x 15 radial on my Torque Thrust, but my lips are rolled. You will need to drop down a size. At the track I use a 245/45 x 15 bias ply.

wow, so basically not much of a tire fits under a stock wheel well... i will look for his posts. right now the car has 205's on 14" rims which i thought was very small, but then again im used to 79-94 and up mustangs, so this is all new territory for me. i wanted to go with something like a 225 60 15 tire on some stock type torque thrusts or magnum 500's. the backspacing would be whatever the stock magnum 500 backspacing is for a mustang... im looking at the package that cjponyparts.com has .... sounds like a good deal.
