The TA cars likely got re-built repainted over the course of a season, and they probaly had more than one car to campaign too. I sure am. I'm going with white and black instead of the more memorable yellow/black. My rule with this car is it has to at least look period correct. Most of the parts are period correct, though . The roller 302 obviously isn't and niether is the Mcleod scattershield and the 351W I just picked up wont be either, but most people will be hard pressed to notice.

Thanks and you bet there will be pictures. I decided to shoot the colors myself too. We'll see how that goes. As for info, specs, etc on the original Titus cars, all I have to go on is a feature article that Mustang & Ford did in '99 on a clone build by Rick Titus. It has some good pictures and some specs, but nothing real detailed. This will be a restomod after all and that means some deviations here and there

There's a difference between the "new" GT500E Super Snake stripes, and the "original " 427 Super Snake stripes. The new look to be about 3", 1", 11", 1", 3". On the original Super Snake, the "gaps" are much wider, and the center stripe appears to be slightly narrower - like 3", 2", 10", 2", 3"....
