TMI '65 Bucket Seats - Are they actually white?

I purchased a TMI '65 white interior kit for standard seats. I just cracked open the box and the color looks more of an off-white than a bright white. Is this correct or should they be a bright white?

My old seats were bright white but maybe this was due to them being bleached by the sun and cleaning chemicals for over 40 years. I would love to have a bright white interior to contrast the black body of the car. However, if there was not a bright white interior in '65 so be it.

I cannot say for the 65, but my '70 was more of an off white. I am pretty sure from what I have seen they are not bleach white. Other may be able to correct me.

Should be white, mine was bright white (until I mess it up...)

I used TMI for my 65 white interior. It is more of a "dirty" white than bleach white.

Mine are a very light white / cream color. Would you say yours are the same?
