Hey Gang:

N20Jnky is out of my shop and on it's way to running form... KillerB and I took it down to Bill's in Marysville this weekend... There is a little work that we can't do in my shop, like fab an exhaust and do some front end geometry work. I am also going to have Bill complete the re-wiring and the initial fire-up of the 408... Then it will be back to my place for final fitting of the hood, fenders, and interior, and then I will be back on the street...

The outside is gonna look like hell until this winter when I will have it painted... Until then it is black hood and spoiler on an Emerald Green car, but I just want to get it to the track... Also, it will be a N20Jnky needing a fix, because I will not be running nitrous for the remainder of the summer... Want to play on the motor at first and will then install a little "pick me up" over the winter... I also will be futzing with the PMS system later this summer once I am sure that everything is running on the stock computer okay...

So -- to all you nay sayers -- all I have to say is :Zip2: ...

The N20Jnky will be back on the streets shortly!!! Whooo Hooooo!!!

GRRRRRRRRR.... you are right about the 3 years, which kills me....

I'll be running AFR 205's and making 10.5 compression... My goal, as always is to have a streetable car and run the cheap stuff... I'm hoping for mid 11's on the motor, and then I will juice it into the low 10's... Who knows, maybe I will get a little aggressive and try to put it into the 9's...

Forgive the irony, I couldn't pass it up. Your NA goal for that engine is pretty conservative. You'll likely exceed it. How much nitrous are you going to cram into the thing? a 125 shot?
 
I am sure Earl will be adding just enough nitrous to stay ahead of my car. He will probably do it in 1/2 horsepower increments just to tick me off and always win! I don't think I like nitrous cars much. :bang:

Yanno... I hate to admit it, but KillrB is probably correct!!!!! :lol:

My initial plan was to put a fogger system on it, only because it would look so dang cool... I will be running a carburated Vic Jr. lower that has been plumbed for EFI... Everything is looking so sweet now, that I might just settle for a plate system... Nice thing about that is it will keep everyone guessing on just exactly what I am spraying...

The build should be good up to around 750 HP, so who knows... Essentially tho, I just need to be 0.01 second faster than the pig that KillrB will be driving.... :rlaugh:

Mid 11's - I'm happy....

Low 11's - I'm really happy...

In fact, if the damn thing just runs I'll probably be pretty happy!!!!!

Thanks for the little update... I'm out of town right now, but I'm hoping that Bill is making some progress... I was up on Friday and he had the main harness cleaned up a bit from when I took it into him... You couldn't see them, because they are not there, but KillerB fabricated up some inner fenderwell covers that will cover all the electronics on both sides of the car... Thus your eyes will be drawn directly to the big ass spyder breathing, nitrous huffing, wanna be big block 408...

Dang I hope this little dream machine flys....
