ok i have a 92 Lt1 chevy 350 left over from my s-10. its is complete has trans(4L60) harness and ecu. i have been think about puttin it in my mustang. and takin the 5.0 out of it. main reasons my cars leaks/ burns oil. my AOD is on its way out and i just like that motor better.

has anyone ever seen a fox with a LT1 in it?

the LT1 had a full rebuild back in june. and the trans was rebuilt then also. just tryin to save the hassle of rebuilding another motor and trans.

At least when people do LS swaps it's legitimately a badass engine. LT1=yawn.

I think this was done by a ford guy who got sick of hearing about 350/350 combos in Fords.

thats what i thought too. and the main reason is the money.. i put alot into the LT1 already and the stangs about to die. and i dont have the cash to fix it and its my only car.

I could care less what motor is under the hood. As long as you don't drive around with big LT1 stickers on the car....do it. At the end of the day, most people will still think it's ford powered when you blow their doors off
