Like the title says, I went ahead and had my tires mounted and balanced and snapped a few shots. Im no photographer, and half my driveway was sunny with other half shady. Sorry for the crappy pics, but had to share my excitement. The fronts are 17X9 with 255's, and the rears are 17X10.5 with 315's. I need to drop the front about an inch, as its higher than the rear...

I actually just edited them back to a bigger size on photobucket. I noticed they were too small right after posting. Sorry! Thanks for the compliments guys, Im happy with how they look. Car still looks pretty stock without being too plain.

Im kind of hoping that these wheels dont get as popular being that they are only 17's. There is a 98 GT with Y2K Cobras, and a couple others with Bullitts already. Ive seen one new edge with FR500's too, which is a lot of stangs in small town IA.

Those look awesome!
Hey, how big is the lip on the front wheel? When I was buying wheels, I tried to find something with a lip on the front wheel too but there really weren't any.

Wish I had a sapphire blue mustang.

Are the fronts 255/40s? What springs do you have?

The fronts have roughly a 1" lip, and the rear is only about 2 or 2 1/2". I got them from LMR.

Yes, the fronts are 255/40's, while the rears are 315/35's. Both are cheap Sumitomo's, but Im a man on a budget. I have BBK springs, but they were on the car when I bought it, so I dont know what the advertised drop is from them. I know the fronts are getting at least 1/2 a coil cut to get it down out of the clouds. It damn near looks like stock suspension in those pics! Thanks for the compliments everyone, and I want to give a shout out to 69clark who was the first to suggest grey over black in another thread where I asked for opinions. The anthracite looks better than I anticipated on my Sapphire Blue.

Thanks bro, the "purple" has grown on me big time. I didnt know the sapphire blue paint was "rare" when I bought it. Just wanted a nice low mileage stang and there she was within 300 miles on autotrader. The wheels just capped it off perfectly for me.
