Took silencer out...car sputering

This is what all the Mustang mag tests that I have seen on this mod have shown, too. EXCEPT that the lost torque down low is a lot more than "just a few" ft-lbs. Unless you got gears, this is a bad, bad trade.

Just my opinion...

Totally unscientific, but when I removed my silencer, I did notice ceteris paribus that chirping the tires on upshifts didn't occur as easily as before. Since tire chirping is related to torque delivery, it made sense that I had probably lost some torque when I took it out.

Ended up putting the silencer back in. May cut it a little as some have done...seems to give best of both worlds.
