I purchased a 3k stall torque converter over the weekend from red line converters. It din't come with any bolts, but I know the 3/8 24 fine thread bolts fit perfectlly, the only problem is that I can't find them in a grade 8 type (coarse thread yes, not fine threaded).
Will grade 5 do?
Or am I gonna have to drill coarse threads into it?
BTW, customer service said grade 5 will do, but everyone (and I mean everyone) is telling me grade 8.
