know the basics of this but had a lil prob and needed some help.
Prob.
Make a blast push the clutch in to slow down, rpms fall...car dies. Only on a WOT blast, and then immediate lift. I just swapped to FOX TPS, IAC, and TB...prob started then. I never intially cked my voltage..so here i am.
Ck the voltage..key on eng off. It was at .82volts..ahh lil low no biggy, put it to .96volts.
Heres the big prob, and I dont know if it has anything to do with my car being a 95 because I have been told the tps resets itself automatically, and the EEC controls it all..no adj.
Anyways
I cked the voltage through a full throttle sweep.
Should see roughly 2.71 by part throttle..thats when it tells the cpu WOT, and should see atleast 4.5 at the WOT stop. Well mine never gets over 1.6volts..
I hit 1.6 volts at part throttle, and then the voltage steadily drops when i go further towards WOT....when i hit full WOT I"m seeing .92volts.

So i said yup its bad.
Put a new one in...no change...WTF.

umm, the black wire is the ground for the rheostat. if it is compromised, you should continue to see issues. how much resistance does the black wire have? it sounds like it has an open or some other issue. i would hunt that down.

my two cents worth. good luck.
