I finally went to the track yesterday. It was barely above freezing so traction was non existant. We drove through a snow storm to get there...anyways here are the pics.

I bet in the summer when the track is tacky I can pull a wheel.

Me vs my friends turbo GP

My best time was 13.6 @102 with a 1.93 60' time. I bet I can run better in the warmer weather. The motor is basically just a stock headed 306 with a trickflow cam, weiand intake and a holley carb.

Looks good, 102 was good for 13.1-13.2s for me on a stock suspension!

that fence is in the way but i bet your front tire, if it didnt leave the ground it will in the summer!

Air down those tires... I dont see any wrinkle in the sidewall. You really dont want it as bad as my avatar, but air them down to get a good contact patch!

I had like 14psi in them....Ive never ran on slicks before so it was all new for me.

Yeah, slicks take some practice. If it doesnt hook a good thing to do is drop the pressure. Another good idea is check and set the pressure right before the pass if possible. I usually start around 13, and go down from there. The avatar pic was 9-10 psi I think!

Just keep at it and in warmer weather expect some 1.7s all day long!

lol.... i got micky thompson street slick.. and when i got the car they were low, i filled them up to 35 psi.. now that ive been on here i know why they were low in the 1st place! LOL

I just counted my slips and I ran 12 times. It was sooo dead I jsut keep lapping back and forth

I think I ran 16 times when I went. There were only like 5-6 guys doing test and tune, 3 of em were me, 795.0pacecar, and his dad lol
