I finally went to the track yesterday. It was barely above freezing so traction was non existant. We drove through a snow storm to get there...anyways here are the pics.

My best time was 13.6 @102 with a 1.93 60' time. I bet I can run better in the warmer weather. The motor is basically just a stock headed 306 with a trickflow cam, weiand intake and a holley carb.

Yeah, slicks take some practice. If it doesnt hook a good thing to do is drop the pressure. Another good idea is check and set the pressure right before the pass if possible. I usually start around 13, and go down from there. The avatar pic was 9-10 psi I think!

Just keep at it and in warmer weather expect some 1.7s all day long!
