Traction control wont turn off,cant smog,please help

I have had 3 different mechanics try to figure it out with no luck,they all said take it to the dealer,they said its not generating any codes,ive had seen post on other forums with the same symtoms,i even changed the switch,it still doesnt light up when pushed,any help will be greatly appreciated.Ive heard of disabling the system with a tune,can anyone tell me how its done or who can do it??

A handheld tuner is capable of doing this.

Might be handy to know the model year.

Could the car have come from a rental company? Remember the rentals are modified from the factory so that the traction control can NOT be turned off.

I agree that a custom tune can disable traction control, etc. However, in this case it sounds like an underlying problem that I wouldn't be confident can be fixed with a tune. I would take a look at the fuses. I have a feeling that it could all just be a fuse.
