Trade a Mach for an '02 Roush 360R?

Not trying stir anything up .. just making an observation

The Roush 360R is not putting 360HP to the rear wheels.

Ok ... :rlaugh: I've seen my share of S3s and 360R dyno numbers and they are pretty good. 330-360 rwhp. But, then again .... what do I know.

I saw a stock dyno of one before at 309 rwhp but bassani exhaust jumped it to 343 rwhp and I am sure that my friends 03 jumped to atleast 345-350 rwhp with the BBK full lengths .....

That sounds more like it. Blk_Roush if you saw such a thing, they were modded Roushes. I ain't trying to argue either & also agree they are both great cars. But the 360R was designed as 360 flywheel HP, that's why the authenticity plate near the shifter says 360HP, 375TQ. Now the 380R makes 379 flywheel HP, just like the Mustang Cobra makes 390 flywheel HP. I'm not saying you didn't see 360Rs on the dyno producing 360RWHP. But if they did they were most def modded & also the kind of dyno they were using should be taken into consideration.

Thanks for making my point. And no ... these were not modded. :nice:

Point to where you saw a 360R putting down 360 RWHP stock... I read fnsweet.com on a regular basis and never seen a 360R putting down that much direct from Roush..

Awesome for that owner, whoever it is..

That's what i'm saying. Finally somebody else who KNOWS stock 360Rs don't put down 360RWHP. This arguement ain't even got anything to do w/ what this thread was started for but if we're gonna be on this topic I'll run w/ it. The Mach is the one car that barely runs under it's RATED HP on a dyno.

I hate that I was misunderstood by suggesting every 360R is making 360rwhp.
Merely making an observation that some are well under rated and doing very well at the dyno stock, as are Stage 3s running the same calibration.

Point accepted. Though I'm hard-pressed to believe that any stock 360R makes 360RWHP, I can understand if they're underrated since both the Cobra & the Mach also fall in the same category.

Still ... not arguing just making an observation

Then we're cool? Because it's all good as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure there are folks that feel the same about Mach 1s and Cobra too.

BTW, sweet ride .. they say that's the fastest color on the Mach 1 Registry board. :D
Peace.

Thanks man. Your Roush's tight too. & about Oxford White being the quickest Mach. I know that I do run the best times in my town at the strip, at least as far as Machs are concerned. & in June I finished 3rd in the Mustang Shootout. I'll be competing again July 16th.
