tranny swap question

i have been reading up on the aod to t5 swap and i will be doing this in a few weeks

Only had a few questions

I know that my aod computer will work, but I read somewhere that I will have to adjust the idle???? only read this in one post so Im confused

Also, does the aod computer have a rev limiter....i just wanna make sure with the t5 I dont over rev her

Idle speed on MT is between 680-720 and AT is 555-595 in drive.

also....i have a t5 and bell housing both from a 94 gt

am i able to direct bolt to my fox?

Bell housing for an SN-95 is longer, you input shaft wont reach the flywheel.

As for idle speed adjustment

1. Engine OFF, back out throttle plate stop screw clear off the throttle lever pad.
2. With a .010 in. feeler gauge between the throttle plate stop screw and throttle lever pad turn the screw in until contact is made then turn it an additional 1-1/2 turns for High Output, 1-7/8 turns for base engine.
3. Shut engine OFF and disconnect battery for 5 minutes minimum.
4. Start engine and stabilize for 2 minutes then goose the engine and let it return to idle, lightly depress and release the accelerator let engine idle. If idle problem still exists check for other possible causes.
