transbrake questions

Im thinking of adding a transbrake to my C6. Its a newly just rebuilt C6 with a transgo shift kit, ***er shifts hard. I've never installed a transbrake before, what makes it work, whats a good brand, and would i have to replace any other parts or will my C6 be fine in its current state with a transbrake. Thanks.

I would look into a alum unit since they hold less heat, they also tend to respond quciker. Go with a good aftermarket servo as well, most come with them.
