Transmission Help

Depends on who you ask.

The T-5 has the nickname "glass tranny" for a reason.

The T-45 is basically a stronger T-5, I dont have any issues to speak of with mine.

The T-3650 has a multipage issue thread floating around here, it gets ugly. I personally know of 1 person with a bad T-3650 and its still relativley low in miles. Granted he beats on it, but I beat on my T-45 aswell and it has 100k. http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=328655&highlight=3650+issues

Alot of people will say the T-3650 though. What year is yor car?

T-5 smooth but fragile

T-45 Good trans but notchy and has reverse problems

T-3650 I have an 03 3650 and it was rebuilt. Overall T-3650 is reaaly smooth and can handle power.

Really its all up to what you think and what your experience is with thses trannys. I've had the T-45 and now the T-3650, I personally like the 3650 10x better.
