Hey guys wondering if anyone knows what to look for on a C4 transmission in order to determine what year it came out of. The one I have was originally in a 72 maverick but the owner of that car stated that the vehicle did not have the orginal transmission or motor in it when he purchased it. I have a guide to decode ford part numbers but just need to know where to look at on the unit or if there is another way to determine it.
