It was fun installing. and so much fun to drive right after instal.I dont even know why do you guys want the shifter to break in. I think its fine as it is
but anyways, how long will it take to break in? and when it does....will it be a bit softer

Never heard about it breaking in??? I had mine installed in about 20 mins after I had my TSB work on my tranny done and couldn't be happier. Now the shifts seem stock to me and I rarely hear the noise but there is a gasket out there that takes care of it. So I'll pick it up soon. I guess you just get used to it cuz I used to think my car was quick now I think its a turd...

well not reaaly sure about a break in. mine does feel looser but not sure if its just me getting used to it or not. just drive it and be happy that 2-3 is a breeze to slam.

have fun with it I've had mine for 3 years now and still no problem whatsoever. I've also never heard anything about "breaking in" a shifter as you stated.

I've had mine a couple months now. I don't know if it really breaks in or not. I think I've just gotten used to the difference now and don't notice the stiffness anymore.
