triax or pro 5.0 shifters...ive already done a search!

I know that there is alot of info on here already comparing the steeda tri-ax and pro 5.0 shifters, however, i am still stuck and cannot make up my mind. I want to do one more small mod (around 200$ or so) before summer and I think im gonna go with a shifter (unless anyone else has any other opinions, and pullies are out, im saving up for that 9# kb sc ). Ive read things for both sides but, if you guys can oblige me, i need convinced one way or the other. any opinions one way or the other would be incredibly appreciated. just let me know guys. Again, thanks for any help!

Got both, prefer the 5.0. Even my wife decided the Tri-Ax handle, in the lowest position, was still too tall. For now she still has the Tri-Ax shifter, but with a 5.0 handle. Wishing we'd bought a 5.0 for hers as well...

ok, its one vote triax and one vote 5.0. have you guys heard anything wrong about either of the shifters? as in breaking or what not? Im not a tall guy with long arms or anything, so i dont want the shifter TOO low. and does the stock boot and knob fit over and on top of both?

I went w/ the pro 50, I am not tall either, about 5'10 and the reach does not bother me at all. but maybe thats just because they are so much better than stock, who cares if you have to reach a little to put it in 5th

I have the Tri-Ax and I love it. Can't comment on the 5.0 shifter though it looks like a great shifter too. Either way, you'll reap the benefits of this mod EVERY time you shift gears . . .

Tri-ax is sometimes loud
Tri-ax can get hot sometimes (I think this one is for the tri-ax)

5.0 can sometimes cause you to hit your knuckles on the dash.
5.0 is notchier than tri-ax

I had the Pro 5.0 with their shifter handle and it was great. But i have short arms so reaching 5th was not all that comfortable. I went ahead and bought the Tri-Ax handle seperately and love it. In my opinion I think it still sits nice and low, but the handle is a little further back for a better reach. I should of just went with Kona Racing and saved a few bucks instead of purchasing them seperately. Oh well!

My son and I both have the Pro 5.0 and we both love it. He has the TriAx handle on his, I have the Pro 5.0 handle.
Can't imagine anything any better!

I just installed the tri-ax, and I'm loving it. I also got the billet shift knob for it too. The knob does get a little warm, but nothing uncomfortable. It's a little noisy, but I personally love the sound but if you don't like it, just turn up the radio a touch. I've had it in about a week now and it's breaking in very nicely, it's not as notchy as it was right after install. I got mine from MustangTuning for $161.99 with free shipping.

Ive had both and here is what I found. The Pro 5.0 is smoother and less notchy but the handle was too short for me since I have the seat all the way back. So now I have the Pro 5.0 with the Tri-ax handle and its the best combo for me.
