I have a 95 gt and want more POWER!!!! :) So I am looking at hci kits and had my eye on the trick flow kit. Can i just purchase this kit and bolt everything on and GO or will i have to order other stuff to install it properly?????? Also on the top end from a 3rd and 4th gear pull...will i notice it pulling alot harder the my stock h/c/i???? Also will the kit still produce decent numbers with the stock tb,mass air meter and injectors???

Absolutely get new lifters. Which kit are you planning on getting? The Street heat kit or Track Heat kit??

I have TFS heads and Intake but my cam is different. I love the way the car pulls. My setup likes the higher RPMs. If you wanted a bit more down low go with the street heat intake. You will be wanting MORE power once you feel the difference from stock to TFS.

You may get away with using the stock injectors or you could upgrade to 24lb. Throttle body is a bit restrictive but MAF should be ok. I still have my stock 70mm MAF and it runs like a raped ape.

Pull harder? I would say so. Help me out here guys but stock stangs are choked off at 220HP or same as 180rwhp. My TFS H/C/I openeded the 5.0 up and bumped me to 350HP roughly or 290+rwhp and that is with cats. Torque went from 285Ft Pounds to 370+FT Pounds.

O' but dont forget the gears. Imports are running around with 4.30's stock so why are we wimping around with 2.73's and 3.08's?? Put those gears in an import or a WRX and watch their times all the sudden go into 9's-12 second 0-60's lol.

Disassembling a top end is kind of involved. It's a little more than bolting it up and going. Even with a kit, you will need some extras. I went with the TFS top end kit, and sub-ed out the cam for one from AFM. Added to that, I went with a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, MAF to match . . . oh hell, just read my sig. Everything but the suspension and gears I did to support the HCI, and make sure I was taking full advantage. The thing about the intake spacer, valve cover oil cap and elbow adaptor are right too (not expensive, but you will need them).

Also, dont forget that to pull the cam you need to remove every accessory. You need to drain the radiator and block of coolant. You will be breaking every factory seal on the top of the motor (hence leaks). Depending on other supporting mods you may elect to do, you may end up with further complications.

There's all that, and you should plan on getting a dyno tune.

Not to rain on your parade. I love my car. It just took a lot of work to get er done.

Or if you really want a bolt up solution, go Kenne Belle!!!   You'll have practically the same performance results, plus tons of low end.
