Guys,
I have owned 4 Stangs in my life starting with a 95 as the earliest model. I really want a foxbody so here is what I have cooking.
My friend owns a 93 Fox hatch that is in immaculate shape with new 3.73 FMS gears, Full Mac off road exhaust, Flows, chrome cobra R wheels with new tires, new dark ford blue paint, new 3 inch cowl hood, short throw shifter, new king cobra clutch and the interior is grey cloth that looks like it has just rolled off the showroom floor.
He told me that the absolute lowest he would consider selling it would be $ 8,500

I have driven the car and it looks and feels brand new. It has a rebuilt 5.0 engine with only 7,430 miles on it. Right now it sits in a garage in storage and is hardly driven these days.

Is this an ok price for such a vehicle?
Remember that the car does not have a single scratch on it.

Thanks for any input.
Mike

hell, pitch him 7500 and see what happens. I always start negotiations at least a grand lower than the asking price.
I have found that if you have the cash in hand they rarely say no.

How many miles are on the car itself, I think thats too much no matter what. One of my friends bought a 92 gt in excellent shape with 40k original on it for $7,000 all stock though

The car body itself ( excluding motor ) has 57,000 miles on it.
Like I say, It was hardly driven.

Thanks and I will try to get a few pics.

That is too much. Considering its not supercharged, twin or single turbo'd. I would much rather find a bone stock one. If you plan on spending that much money.

I dont even like hatches, and that car is plain sexy. Where I live, that car would sell for 9-10k on the day it was advertised, and if it was a notch it would go for 10-11.5 with EASE. Theres way more less nice cars selling for more than that around here. Im in though, so I'm not sure on the market difference.

Rare to find clean/unbeat foxes here.
