Hey Stangers,

It's been a while sence I updated this forum on the progress of my '65 Fastback. It's been a lot of work but the mechanical issues are behind me know. Turns out my trac-loc noise was from using Redline manual transmission oil instead of gear lube, I fixed the smoking turbos with new cartridges and the tuning is well worked out. I am using a Tweecer RT and it's a great tool.

My MAF is calibrated for 36# injectors and I am at it's limit. Couple of days ago, I tweaked up the boost to 12 PSI,(downstream of the TB). Based on my airflow, I'm at about 540 FWHP now. My hopes are to work up to 15 psi but the new MAF calibration will have to be done first. Water injection is on its way and I hope to increase the timing and A/F ratio. I think there is another 60 HP to be found there. A Dyno pull is in the near future, after the MAF cal and injection installation.

Even though I am still working on the body, I have shown the car twice in the under construction class. It has generated alot of attention. Even the high dollar Shelby crowd took notice at the Mini-Nats I attended.

Take a look at my site for progress pics and a small start-up vid.

Take Care,
