Tune up parts (which to get?)

Guys I have posted this awhile back, but I can't see how to pull up my old thread. I went to user CP and I can't find it in there??? I know im not doing it right, but anyway.
Here's the deal. I am about to install some new axles and brakes on the rear this weekend, along also with new 6pc lights on the front. I was thinking that while I have the day off and have the comfort of using our shop where I work that maybe go ahead and tune her up. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. My car has 63k on the ticker and still is equipped with the O.E. tune up parts. (F/filter has been replaced but due again by mileage.) I am going to get the parts here by tomorrow, was just wondering;;;;; with my minor mods should I just stay with the regular Motorcraft stuff or will I benefit any by going with better wires???? :shrug:The car is running great, should I just leave it alone??? Im sure that even with the low miles and that it is running fine that she has lost some pony's by the stuff having 63K.

What yall think...

Thanks in advance

Motorcraft plugs
Ford Racing 9mm plug wires, blue or red
Motorcraft cap and rotor
Motorcraft fuel filter
Motorcraft or Fram PCV
Motorcraft oil filter
Nice new green antifreeze and hoses and T-stat.
Water pump if you feel like doing that much work. My cars always ran cool with a new one.

That should be about it. You might not need or want to do a waterpump because your car has low mileage. My first car ever had 92K and it went bad. The other 3 all had around 140K. I did those as preventive maintenance because that first time effed me over on the side of the road. I never had a problem after any of them being replaced.

What he said. My car gets a new cap and rotor, wires, spark plugs and fuel filter every year even though I don't put 2,000 miles on it a year.

My 1992 plug wires were good on my 91. I took them off in 2007 because I wanted the blue 9mm Ford wires to match the blue on the BBK CAI. I sold them on Ebay for 16 dollars too!!!

I think im gonna get the MSD 8.8 wires and then the rest M/C stuff. Think i'm also gonna get the cold air kit as well. The one that goes into the fender.
I just hate to mess with the stuff if they are not broke, but like I stated i'm sure she has lost some power due to the stuff being O.E..
