well i made the plunge. i just purchased my 07 gt. i love it. it only took two days to put on the pypes after cat. i have been pulled over at least five times this week with complements on the sound (thank you Brent from brenspeed, he talked me out of the MAC). but here is my question. i just got out of an 89 LX, and i am not sure about these tuners and intakes. what company do you guys recommend. actually who is not happy with what they bought. i welcome all posts, positive and negative.

thanks
ken

Almost everyone raves about the SCT XCAL 2 coupled with a tune from a handful of big names like BAMA_CHIPs and BrenSpeed, et al

Hardly anyone here speaks highly of the Predator system, Superchips or Jet Chips. [for some reason]

I bought the Pypes Violators from Brenspeed and the C&L intake with the SCT X-cal2 tuner. You wont be sorry if you do the same. I have a 07 GT 5 speed manual, and it made a HUGE difference

Brenspeed!

I purchased an SCT-X2 from Brenspeed for my 07 GTafter owning it for just a couple of weeks and could not be happier. I ordered it on a Friday it arrived the following Tuesday. When you call Brenspeed, you talk to Brent who is the owner. He will patiently answer all of your questions. He offers free shipping on his tuners, and his service after the sale is top notch. I've called & e-mailed him a few times with questions about the tuner and he has always been both knowledgable and easy to deal with. I cannot say enough good about his products and service.

I was not so lucky on that fast service. I ordered on a tuesday and was told it would take 4 or 5 days to program it, somebody must have been on vaca mode then it would be shipped. It came on the following thursday. I am a patient man.

For '07's as well?

Hi guys. I was just on SCT's website, and their price lists states '05-'06 Mustang GT's as "supported" vehicles; it doesn't mention '07's.

Will it work on an '07 for sure?

Brenspeed's website claim's 05-07, what gives....?

Thanks.

My Stang has a service appointment today, so last night I reflashed the computer back to stock. I couldn't believe the difference on the drive in this morning to drop the car off. Although it ran fine, the performance was such that it felt like the car was 1,000 pounds heavier than it was yesterday with the 93 octane brenspeed tune installed.

I dont know about the new stangs but I used a Hypertech III for my old 04' GT with great results. What do you guys think about Hypertech for the newer cars?
