Ok, just got a Tweecer R/T, took the cobra file, modded some scalars and modded the spark and fuel tables, just like an educated guess, and now driving around the thing the eats 2nd alive, wasnt doing that before the tune!!, I still have to data log and do load scaling and get the A/F ratio right, running super rich. The car revs alot smoother now and everything. I was amazed the diff a basic tune made on the car.

So to anyone with a good bit of mods, get a Tweecer and start reading, its really not all that hard, just study up, it gets more simple as time goes on

the tweecer sticky in the tuning forum and read gradys site under tuning stuff, both places very helpful

Also, goto EECtuning.org register on the forums there, you have to to access files, then goto the top tuning forum and into the thread beginners look here, and download the document thats linked in there it has some good info too.

I'm glad to see your enthusiasm
and
See you are having a lot of fun

It is a HOOT ............ Ain't It

however

Call me an Old Man who is too conservative If you wish
but
Based upon some of your other posts

It seems like you got no Wide Band
yet
You say you are rich
and
You're leaning things out

How do you know these things to be .........
As you suspect

This looks iffy to me
and
I'd be pretty concerned if you were NA

But the reality is ........ YOU ARE FORCED INDUCTED

In no way am I trying to be critical
or
Make light of your Knowledge & Efforts

Just kinda running up the ... RED FLAG OF CAUTION ... here

I'd hate to see your enthusiasm cause you regrets in your
early stages of Self Tuning

If there is something I've missed or overlooked here
I'll not be so forward with my concerns
and
Be Quick to say ... "Sorry for Raining All Over Your Parade"

lol, I do have a wideband its the AEM UEGO or however its spelled. Dont have it hooked into the tweecer yet, but i watch my gauge as I run it and am making adjustments off of that. Might wire it into my egr tommorrow since its gonna start freezing rains and such, ill be stuck in the house anyways.

side note, I had to disconnect that FMU, its very hard to tune around. and now my duty cycle on the injectors at 5000 rpm is 104%

edit: yeah im having alot of fun, ive always liked tinker around with stuff like this, and this way I know its done right and not by some guy in a hurry on the dyno at the local shop.
