I have issues I have 94 gt that I converted over to a 5 speed changed heads gt40ps, cam ( e ) and a cobra intake. I also deleted the egr and smog pump as well as cats. Idle sucks and continuis mil. I've heard a little about a tweecer, please help

It's a chip that plugs into the J3 port on your PCM, then connects to your laptop/dekstop via a USB cable, and with the software that comes with it, you can change everything in the factory PCM, i.e.: idle, fan temps, maf curves, injector slopes, fuel tables, spark tables, delete EGR, delete smog etc. etc. It is a must have if you do a h/c/i swap (which you have done) and even more so if you deleted EGR and smog (which you also did). The only other alternative is to get a custom chip burnt, but then you're stuck with that single tune. With the tweecer you can retune it as many times as you want, and it also comes with a switch that lets you have 4 different tunes programmed at any time, and you can switch between those 4 tunes, and the stock one with just a turn of the knob. It's definitely worth it. The R/T (real time) lets you datalog what your computer is doing as it's running and you're driving (if you have a laptop). You can record such information as spark advance, maf volts, tps, load, and a/f ratio if you have a wideband. I love my tweecer and I think it's one of the best things I've bought for the car.

Hey thanks where can I get one how much do they run?

http://www.tweecer.com/order.htm

Brand new they run $380 plus shipping (plus tax if you live in Texas) for the base twEECer, or $550 for the R/T plus shipping.

BUT.......... look in the classifieds of stangnet, corral.net, hardcore50 etc. etc., lots of guys sell their's used for cheap. I got my R/T 5 months old used for $425 shipped a few weeks ago.

Thanks a lot. Next thing on my list, tweecer.

Go to their website, and download the software first. It's a good idea to get a feel for how the thing works before you drop the money for it. Also, then you'll know the basics and can start tuning right away when you get it.

You'll need Borland Database Engine (BDE), RT130A9 (the actual program), and the manual is a good idea too.
