I have TFS TW heads and ever since my mechanic intalled them the make a ticking sound under acceleration. the valves or rockers just make this sound or do I have other problems. They scream at higher rpms and I really feel the power and can't wait for the cam. If this is a problem that cam install is going to be rather long and expensive.

Unless it's especially loud, it's normal valvetrain noise. It'll only get louder with a good cam

Sounds like the rockers may be a little too loose. Hard to diagnose when your in MN and im in NY You could set them again if you wanted. Could also be an exh leak.

What cam are you planning?
