So I intend on getting one off ebay soon. I searched and saw the modifcations you have to do to get the gaskets and ports to match up. Is this needed on every single product they sell? I suppose I know how to bolt up everything, but do not know how to do this? Can I use my stock throttle body (for now) and heads and still see a increase in performace? Also will I be able to use my stock injectors? I dont want to have to spend hours on modifying this thing, but I also do not want to spend 200 extra for a brand name intake either. Someone give me some help and input on maybe how and what I need to do, maybe a step by step and tools needed or if I even have to doit at all. Thanks.

Good intake for an H/C car, little to big for stock head cam car. I purchased mine and after a quick look over found it was a good cast pc that went on without any issues what so ever. I experienced NO loss or gain over the previously instaled Eddy RPM that was in place.

My wife's GT has one on it. No porting required on it either to match up to the gaskets. Goes good with her combo too. 308, Performer RPM heads, Steeda #18 cam, Accufab 70mm t-body, 30lb injectors, blah, blah. Not really recommened for stock engines though....

mine fit fine. a little whistling though. i think that's because the bottom was not matched to the heads

mines just groovy.. slighty ported out to match the ports up perfect.. you should be fine with your stocker.. i dont know about performance gains.. i doubt you will see much of anything.. a stock ported would rock your world and a good cam

i got one just because my buddy had it for cheap. I matched the upper to the lower and the lower to the heads and smoothed some of the rougher places out, i felt a differece for sure. But i had ported heads, F cam and headers at the time to...dont know about completly stock though.

I bought mine off Ebay about 2 years ago. Before I installed it (still had the stock heads then) I opened up the TB bore to match a BBK 75mm TB and spacer then I did a little porting work to the runners. Finally, I completely polished the runners and the plenum behind the TB. After installation, WOW, F*** that POS H.O. intake. Dont waste you time with a ported H.O., get one of these instead. Last summer I bought a set of TW heads and gave those a thorough cartridge roll cleanup and polish and slapped the Typhoon on top of the heads. No problemo screaming up to the rev limiter now, even though I still got the stock cam in there (not for long anyways). Unfortunately, I dont think the Typhoon is keeping up with the heads so I am either going to get a Victor 5.0 or send it off to Extrude Hone when I swap cams. Bottom line: Its a great intake at an even better price!

Ok so put it to rest for me guys, mixed comments, will it work on a stock motor? The 70mm tb will be added very soon along with 6psi that is waiting in the closet to be slapped on as well. all with stock injectors, maf, pump, egr and tb only mods are pullies cat back cai and tb spacer.

Too big in my opinion, go with gears instead.

Even with the S/C it will not be a good combo?
