Unknown vibration :(

I own a 1996 3.8L V6 mustang. There is an unknown vibration that occurs when accelerating slowly. Also, it only happens between 30-50mph and when accelerating quickly, no vibration is observed. I had the u-joints checked and they are fine. Could it be a problem with the transmission? Please post your ideas and thanks for your time.

Here's some more info: the car currently has 76k miles on it and the transmission is automatic.....dont know if this will help but thought I'd add the info.

i have a similer question my car shakes when i start it up not always just occacionally(i cant spell). what could it be?

Do you feel the vibration in the steering weel or in the seat?

Ok two of my friends who had 96 mustang v6s had this shaking problem, and this is the reason that I was steered away (no pun intended) from buying this type of car. Its not the wheels. Its the transmission. When the transmission was going on their cars the car was shaky and it seems to be a common problem. The shakyness usually lasted a month or so..then the transmission just went on their cars. One of my friends actually had their transmission explode on them and the engine was damaged and there was risk of a fire in the engine. Get that fixed right away before somethign REALLY damaging can potentially happen.

Hi there..
I had the same problem in my ex mustang 94 v6.
It's not from the transmission or something else.
It is from the Differential bearings.
Most of the second hand mustangs have this problem.
Today I own a 95 v8,I have the same thing.
Fixing this is not a big problem ,It is cheap.
So chill my friend.
