Thoes seats do look nice, thats why I bought them. They have some issues though. They will break and possably hurt you in a serius accident because of their his frame and cheaper bolts. Also at your shoulder blade level the seat has a hard plastic piece with no cushion on it and thin cusining below it. For some its okay but if you are 5'9"-6'2" that plastic piece will cut into your shoulder blades. And if you sit in that seat then sit in a $400 Recaro you will see why they cost more. Its like the difference between a Lazy Boy or a Chinese knock off. It the difference between a $1400 Sharper Image massage chair and the $99 one on eBay.
They just feel better. How could you think its dumb to buy nice seats. I mean thats what connects you to the car, thats where all your pressure is. Its what makes the car comfertable and fit like a glove instead merley being"tolerable" or uncomfertable. When people look in a car its the most prominent thing they will see. The difference between "Yeah, thats cool" and "Oh wow! Thoes look really nice! Can I sit in it?"

Now in your car, I could see the point of having nice racing seats for lateral support and a harness to hold you in. Im just bashing the idea of having them in a stock car. Just my .02 cents though....

and BTW i have bullitt seats in mine and absolutely love them. They offer more than enough support and i only spent 500$ on them...

Now I dont think seats like he is getting or the Sparco/Recaro/Carbeau (sp?) versions are rice eaither. The seats I think are rice are the full blown non-adjustable seats. The buckets that you have to climb over and have the side bolsters that lock you in place. That is rediculous to have in a freakin street car. That is a track only thing and IMHO is just very rice thing to have on your car. Its like the Civcs with canards on them and a giant adjustable lip spoiler and a rear air difuser to keep their 180hp planted to the road
