Hey guys, so I said that I would keep you all posted on the 40. So I just got off the phone with my dad and he just got the dyno results. As of right now with a Holley 850dp, it's at 670rwhp and about 575rwtq. There is no dyno sheet right now hopefully it will be scanned and sent to me sometime soon. Keep in mind the carb isn't what came on the car. My dad just found the webers that were on it and is purchasing them as we speak and are being rebuilt as we speak (8k). It'll be around 700rwhp and about 600rwtq, by the time it's all said and done. and that's 1800lbs!!! So yea she's gunna fly. He drove the car and said it's the fastest car that he's ever driven!! He can't shift the car fast enough. Keep in mind my dad has driven 1100hp can-am cars, nascars, S7's, Enzo's and so on. He also said that 200mph is not a problem. It redlines at around 8100rpms!! The carb is actually restricting it. The car is an absolute animal!! Hopefully I will get more pics soon. It should be done in the next few weeks and delivered.

OH man this island is killin me!! Just to share a quick story before I go to bed. At around 1pm Friday afternoon 17 korean high school students decide to go to a nearby Island called Siapan. They higher joeshmo to give them a tour. He decides to take them to a isle called the Forbidden isle. Now called me crazy but doesn't forbidden isle give it away that you shouldn't go there!! So they cross a reef, and all 17 of them get washed out to sea!! I'm on duty on my boat, and our sister boat gets recalled to get underway to go and rescue them. At around 5pm they picked up 3 dead bodies by Siapan Patrol, and 13 of the other people were picked up safely by helos. Our sister ship the Washington gets underway at 7pm. About halfway there there Mechanics chief gets seasick and collapses and hits his head and starts convulsing, and throaing up all over himslef. They turn around back to guam with EMS standing by on the pier. My boat gets pulled out of a "resting status or Charlie" which basically means we can't get underway. Our boat struggles to get everyone back to get our boat up and running. Meanwhile the Washington our sister boat is on there way back and they run into a Engine casualty. Due to Classified info I can't give out what kind of motors we have or how much hp. But just figure it's alot. Also we have these things called stabilizer fins. Which basically stabalize us when we are haulin balls. Well they couldn't figure out why there weren't going anywhere when they were trying to go fast. It turns out that the fins were kicked at a 30degree angle which makes a wall and slows the boat down tremendously. Anways our crew gets back and Washington finally pulls into port. Now it's about 12:30am on Saturday morning. I've been up for about 20 hours. Our Mechanics go over and fix there problem. We'll it turns out that they needed 3 more people to help them out. So Me, my boss, and an electrician go onboard and head up to Siapan to help find the last person missing. We leave at 4am. I've now been up close to 24hrs and I'm beat to death. We head up there goin about 23kts. or around 26mph. So we are getting beat and you basically can't sleep. We arrive up there at around 8am Saturday. We start a search pattern, and it goes on all day. I've now been up for 37hrs straight with no sleep. We end up finding the person washed up on some rocks. we call in a small boat and a helo to go in and get this person. He was so messed up and dead ofcoarse. Turn around and start heading back to guam we arrive at 3am Sunday morning. Now i've lost count of how many hours I've been up straight. I get into bed with my wife and sleep. Tommorrow I get underway yet again for 7 days. I had less then one day off!! But lives were saved, and only a few lost!! It wasn't a bad day for the Coast Guard. Sorry it's so long but damn I just had to vent. I just couldn't believe it the Forbidden Isle, and people decide to go there and cross a reef in 10ft seas. So all you divers and reef walkers out there. please use common sense. The Coast Guard will always be here to save you but we aren't always so lucky!! We do our best to help, but sometimes we are to late. And if you are the type to go out and reef walk or dive. bring some flares to help us find you!!
I will definatly get some pics up when I can. I'll be back in about a week. Hope you all enjoyed my weekend. It was quiet interesting to say the least. Oh yea and I really miss my Saleen!
