Paul, Holcomb Motorsports makes a seat bracket that bolts in, and I just used spacers to get the height I want. Took me about an hour to install both kirkey seats, just bolt in the brackets, set the height, drill the holes in the kirkey seat and go with it. Yes I am running an alternator, I'm using the Moroso alternator bracket it works well.
Mootang, I have the Kirkey Econo Drag seats, they come in 15 or 17" hip width.
As GMKillr said they are light...mine with the seat covers weigh 11lbs, and I think the seat bracket weighs about 8lbs. Man I can't wait to weigh this car.
Also guys if you ever decide to invest in the 94/95 Meziere pump...do it! Albeit expensive it is well worth it. After running the car for awhile at temp or racing with the car around 185degrees...shut it down turn on the low speed fan and water pump in less than 5 minutes the water temp is down to 110 degrees!!!
