Upgrading to Cobra Calibers and rotors

Because the bracket is PART of the caliper. Take a peek at the picture of the Cobra calipers. See the two mounting holes at the bottom? That is what bolts to the spindle. No other brackets needed.

As for the brake lines...all 99+ Mustangs come with the same lines, V6, GT, Mach 1 , Cobra. If you have a 99+ you can reuse stock lines or just order SS lines for a Cobra.

But that can be attributed to simply putting new rotors on the car vs the stock old rotors. In other words, you can go out and slap a set of autozone cheapo rotors on and instantly notice an increase compared to the original rotors.

Slotted or drilling rotors doesn't really have much of an impact on performance on *most* cars. There is always an exception, but for the most part, don't expect much of a change on a street driven Mustang with OEM-type pads. In fact, a stock plain faced rotor will offer better performance.

Yes, i do know high end cars come with drilled rotors. However, it would take much too long to explain the physics between a Porsche 911's massive drilled rotors, and a thin 10" drilled rotor on a civic.
