Look what the man in brown brought me...

View attachment 248845

After waiting three months for these Mac LT headers they came in today. Now I can finish my build. Can't wait to see how much she is going to put down with these and the VRS X pipe. I'm thinking I should be around 300-310 seeing as I'm at 280rwhp right now.

Bad ass man. You should see some nice gains from longtubes paired with the cams.

Check them out very well though, people have had problems in the past with slag (leftover material from the welding process) build up in the headers and causing problems upon starting the car (as in, getting sucked back into the combustion chamber). Seems that only happened with the 4v crowd, though.

What is the finish on those headers? Ceramic? I'm looking at SLP ceramic headers for whenever I do my PI headswap.

Please keep us posted on the install. I'm seriously considering longtubes as my next project.

I will let you guys know. I will as usual post up a video once everything is installed. I'm just waiting on the Stage 8 header locking bolts to come in then off she goes to be built. Once everything is done I will go to the track and see if she can run some 12s and make new camaro and challenger drivers confused why there 400 hp cars can't keep up with an 01 mustang GT.

Nice man. You should see a good gain. An offroad X pipe it self over a high flow catted H you should see more horsepower. Then ontop of adding Longtubes. I bet youll see 307hp at the wheels....sweeeeeeet

Yeah my tuner thinks she will be over 300 to the wheels. He was shocked that it made 280rwhp with stock headers on an automatic. You don't see to many automatics breaking into the 300s all motor.

20+ peak hp is pretty optimistic for longtubes and X pipe over an aftermarket mid pipe/stock headers. You might see big gains in lower end torque

awesome

i am with cobrared though. you will probably see about 296rwhp.

breaking the 300rwhp barrier is pretty tough without nos,F/I or ported heads/intake.

if you can do it more power to you! good luck!
