Using maf with megasquirt pnp

Hi new to this forum, want to see if anyone is or has used there mass air with megasquirt pnp and if so what would need to be changed. Thanks

Well quite a bit actually, I can show you how to set the tune up. So you have the maf wired into an adc input?

Hi a91what I have to thank you for responding I have read and watched your videos, right now my car is tuned sd runs great but wanted to see about running it with my mass air that is still in place .
Does it run better with mass air ? My maf is a pro m 80mm

Still using factory harness , would I need to rewire it to megasquirt pnp ?

Did you build the pnp? If so then it's simple to open the case and wire it in.
If you have an ms2pnp from diy then you will need to wire it into the options port.

Sorry its the ms2pnp , so I would need to wire it in to 26 pin correct any specific port ? Sorry for all the questions, new to all this

options port pin #19 or pin #10 both can be used.

knock input is ADC2 - AD7
Baro is ADC1- AD6

either will work but if you are using the external map pin be aware you will have to jumper it over inside the case.

The bolow picture below is from a how to I helped with for one of the digital dashes offered by dd-efi but instead of oil pressure you can use it to bring the MAF in. the jumper used is a common pin jumper used in arduino projects

Hello see this thread is old but I got the megasquirt ms2 and trying to run maf but not getting any help from megasquirt support.

The honest question is why? MAF had it's benefits back in the day, but MS is literally designed to run without the MAF and remove that limitation and hassle. You don't have to limit yourself to being restricted by the size of a MAF, you tune with MAP (vac/pressure in intake) TPS, etc.. it is much more flexible and how many other engines are run/tuned.
