You will be good just pull back on the rad and make sure at its lowest point pulled back it won't touch . If it does tweak the mount closer to the car or use an old belt and cut a strip the size of the rubber bushing in the rad mount so no one can see it protruding but it takes up the space if that makes sense . The way mine is it will not move back anymore then the position it's in right now .

Hmm, I had clearance like that before I upgraded to larger rad. But more importantly Mike, is that a 40's model Ford next to your stang?

You need to look at Nick and Scott's cars. They will want to make you burn your car and start over.

Looking into doing a similar setup this winter, from what I've been reading you need a smaller water pump pulley and bigger steering pulley to make it work with the a/c delete? Can anyone confirm that?

Not sure about the pulley sizes. I'm sure someone will chime in on that. I do have a question though. I havn't heard you guys discuss the boost retard box yet. Are you installing that or have something else taking care of your timing?

Wait, is that the new MSD 6AL-2 I see in your pic? That thing handles boost retard doesn't it? Love to have the programable one. I have a 6AL but not hooked it up yet. They say it's compatible with my external boost retard box.

Mine is stil all intact with the factory stuff but I do have the 93 cobra small water pump pulley . That I bought when I had my cooling issues last year and they are like no longer existent .

Word of advice. With a supercharger you will normally need superb cooling depending on how often you hit high RPMs. I was running the ProForm 2800 cfm fan and it seemed to do ok but at high rpm's it was jumping up pretty high in heat temp. I didn't have an aftermarket temp guage so I never saw this happening. By the time the fan cooled the temps down it was just enough time the factory guage didn't go above half way.

After I got an aftermarket temp gauge I SAW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. You can blow head gaskets like this. I did.

So. I upgraded to a 3300 cfm fan and my temps stayed down. The fan shroud was the biggest issue I think. The cheaper fan even at 2800 cfm was only covering maybe little more than half the radiator(triple core). New fan covers pretty much the whole radiator.

I have the Vortech V2, triple core rad, and the Mustang Black Magic Xtreme Electric Fan Kit (79-93) 5.0 Fan is about 1/4" clearance.

I saw this post but it was so far back in the thread that I wasn't going to mention....

I had to do the same things... I will say though your radiator is a different brand than ours and it appears its thicker which will give you these extra clearance issues. I will go out and measure my rad dimensions tonight.

I just wanted to point out that while the car is moving, the car should not/does not require any fan whatsoever. The idea is that the cooling system that you mention is really the part that needs to carry the load. I think with your approach and your current cooling system setup that you might be trying to use a fan to make up for a deficiency in the rest of the system. When you're under way in "high rpms" that cooling fan should not be much of a factor at all. If your temp is spiking when you're running it out, then I would suggest that you need something more than a fan.

Just some thoughts I had as I was reading through.

This is not usually the case, the standard pulleys have worked on more than a bazillion blower installs that I've done over the years on these cars. There are some instances where you need to get creative with belt routing or tensioner placement but the motorsport p/s relocation kit when eliminating the a/c works 99.99% of the time with no issue. When you get into taller deck height motors, goofy alternator brackets and things like that you will run into a few small hurdles but even those are not hard to overcome

He may have been referring to stock length belt. So long as the crank pulley size doesn't change, no accessory pulley size changes are required.

The belt size of course, will change.
